Parallels Beta Anniversary Giveaway!

It seems like only yesterday that a group of young Parallels software developers released the beta version of desktop virtualization software which would ultimately become the world’s No. 1 selling solution for running Windows on a Mac without rebooting. The date was April 6, 2006, one day after Apple released Boot Camp, when Walt Mossberg from The Wall Street Journal introduced this revolutionary software from Parallels to the world in this article. Mossberg wrote, "Today, a small Virginia company called Parallels plans to release a beta version of its own software to run Windows on an Intel Mac. It's called Parallels Workstation for OS X…" This beta software became Parallels Desktop for Mac. Exactly six years and seven major versions later, Parallels Desktop for Mac universally recognized as the number one choice for businesses and consumers who want to simultaneously run Windows and OS X applications on a Mac!

As a thank you for all of the fond memories, we’ll be giving out six $50 Apple Gift Cards! To enter, simply respond to us on Twitter with your favorite Parallels Desktop story or experience and include #HBDParallels!

We look forward to reading about your favorite Parallels Desktop experiences as we get ready to celebrate our official anniversary with you this summer!

(Don't be shy... feel free to say Happy Birthday!)
