I needed a way to use three non-portable pc programs: Quicken, Calendar Creator, and a program for downloading WMA audiobooks from the library. The Mac either has no comparable program or what is comparable cannot convert my old data files to a Mac format. Parallels on my Mac Mini does what I need, often while I am doing tasks on the Mac.
