Parallels Summit Update: framework of Agenda Published

We have updated the website and published the framework Agenda for this year’s Parallels Summit , check it out!

The event will be held at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, NV on February 2-4, 2009 with a focus on Cloud Computing, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), Virtualization, Automation, Hosting and other topics. This expanded two-day event will feature in-depth product, strategy, and networking sessions for technical and business people alike.

Additionally, attendees will be given C-level insight from some of the industry's top names on strategies to compete with the Googles and Intuits who are coming into their space.

Attendees will be given ample opportunity to network with the Parallels team, potential business partners, and colleagues at our popular night out events, sponsored meals, and our exhibitors area. Parallels expects over 1000 attendees at the event and space is limited, with registration and hotel accommodations subject to availability.

Parallels Plesk Control Panel 9.0 - beta launch

We are hiring! Service Provider Marketing roles.

We have two great jobs we’re hiring for in Parallels Service Provider Marketing.  We would love to get your support to help us find great talent for these two roles – they are both based in Herndon, VA.  So if you know any great (and SMART!) marketers please send them our way.

WW Marketing Manager, Service Provider Channel – we’re looking for an experienced channel marketing person in software preferably who can help us drive enabling marketing programs thru our service provider channel.

WW Product Manager, Parallels Automation (SP) – this product manager would own marketing for Parallels Automation in the Service Provider space.  Ideally, this person would have outbound software technical product management / marketing experience.

John Eng has recently joined Parallels to lead product management, product marketing and worldwide field and channel marketing for Parallels’ Service Provider division including hosting and software-as-a-service (SaaS). He brings over 13 years of leadership experience in software and has worked and lived in the United States, France and China in the last 4 years.
